Insights - Estimated vs Actual Hours
The insights estimated vs actual hours report is a bar graph that displays the estimated hours as they total from projects completed during the report date range versus the sum of hours from employee punches and expenses.
This can be used as a direct report to analyze if your teams are efficiently completing the work based on the estimated hours. A great indicator that there may be some employee bonus programs that could help keep the key employees.
Estimated hours appear in this report based on the project being completed in the current date range and actual hours is a total of all the worked hours during the same period.
There is a hover feature that will display the total hours and label if the cursor is placed on the bar section.
The output here is based on the worked hours being in the date range represented in the report and the estimate hours will be based on the project being marked as completed in the same date range.
