What is the need for contractor business software reporting and advanced reporting?
Won't I be OK with a graph on my dashboard with my last 30 days in sales dollars? Or the dollars in total estimates in the past 3 months?
Sure that is OK but to be successful and a growth minded business owner you really need much more!
As a service contractor you ideally would have immediate access to all your business numbers like sales, closing ratio, employee accountability, work progress (budgeted hours vs actual hours) and profitability.
Many businesses will focus on sales reports and be proud of the sales number for a given month. Taking into account the project expenses and monthly profitability can also be a key indicator of cash flow and overall business health.
Estimate Rocket now has a suite of advanced reports called Insights
Estimate Rocket has some of the most advanced reporting in the service contractor space. In addition to the employee accountability, profitability and all the work progress reports a suite of advance reports called insights is now being introduced.
The insights reports will show your profitability by segment, profitability by zip code, your top sales people, your top items sold, your revenue by segment, hours by work code, worked versus estimated hours and hours sold by estimator.
One of the key points here is the use of hours on the estimates. The use of hours in Estimate Rocket does not end when the project is accepted; the hours are used to help with scheduling, tracking budget vs work hours and help running employee rewards programs for top performers.
The Estimate Rocket reports give you intelligent analytics for your business.
