The general labor dollars with markup item is based on a price of $1.25 per dollar. A generic line item is not as smart as a typical assembly line item and will only output a dollar corrected price to the customer:

Line Item is Added Directly to the Project
- General Labor Dollars with markup = $200
- Production rate of service = NA
- Price Calculation 1 = $200 x $1.25 per dollar = $250
- Labor Calculation 2 = NA
The general labor dollars is priced at $250.00 and the customer will see that price on their estimate along with a detailed description of the work to be done.

Estimated Profit Margin
The general labor dollars does calculate a profit margin. The profit margin is based on the setting on the minutes per unit in the generic line item.
In this case the minutes per dollar have calculated the profit margin estimate of 4 hour needed. There is no labor and materials section of the estimate generated for work order purposes however.
