Why Estimate Rocket?
API for flexible data exchange
Estimate Rocket allows for flexible data exchange with 3rd party applications through the API.
Data inbound from a web form, data exchange to Quick books or photo integrations are easy with Estimate Rocket.
With this feature a lead imported into Estimate Rocket can immediately received an SMS acknowledging the information request.
You can now setup Estimate Rocket to immediately SMS your new client that is imported through the API from a web form or other system to acknowledge the data submission and continue initial communications right away.
Setting Up the Immediate SMS Notification to the Client
The steps needed to enable your client to get an immediate notification:
- From Settings > Company Settings
- Check the Automated Lead SMS box to enable the feature
- If the box is not checked the lead will still be imported and land on the lead owner's dashboard
The Client will get a text message that looks like this with a link to the customer portal:
Setting Up the Immediate Alert to the Lead Owner
A lead in Estimate Rocket is always assigned to a single user. That single user is considered the owner of the lead. The steps needed to get an immediate alert as the lead owner from Estimate Rocket:
- From Settings > Employee Notifications
- Check the You receive an automated lead on a project (Zapier / API Integration, etc)
- If the box is not checked the notification will still be in place but the alert will not be sent
Regardless if the alert is sent the notification under the bell will look like this:
