Estimate Rocket API - New Endpoints via Web hook Overview

The Estimate Rocket API will now support new endpoints via Web Hook.

Currently the Estimate Rocket team creates the Web Hook, which is then exposed to be used in Zapier.

Upgrade to Estimate Rocket version 1.1.0 will be require to see the new web hooks.

How to Upgrade to Version 1.1.0

1. Log in to Your Zapier Account:

• Head over to Zapier.com and sign in with your credentials.

2. Go to 'My Apps':

• Click on your profile icon at the top right and select 'My Apps' from the dropdown menu. 3. Find the Estimate Rocket Integration:

• Scroll through your list of connected apps or use the search bar to find 'Estimate Rocket'.

4. Click on the Integration:

• When you find the Estimate Rocket integration, click on it to see the details.

5. Select the Latest Version:

• In the integration details, there will be an option to select which version of the integration you want to use.

• Select Version 1.1.0 from the dropdown.

6. Test Your Zaps (Optional but Recommended):

• After switching to the new version, we recommend testing any Zaps that use the Estimate Rocket integration to ensure everything works as expected with the new triggers and actions.

7. Create New Zaps:

• With the new version, you'll have access to new triggers and actions. Explore them by creating new Zaps and automating more workflows

Do I need to upgrade immediately?

Short answer: Not unless you want the new features

  • No Immediate Changes: Zaps that are already set up with version 1.0.0 will continue running as is. Users won’t be forced to upgrade, and their Zaps will keep working without any interruptions.
  • Old Triggers Remain Active: If their Zaps are triggered by events in version 1.0.0 (such as “New Proposal Created”), those triggers will still fire. No functionality of their existing Zaps will change unless they manually upgrade the integration version.
  • No Automatic Upgrade: Zapier does not automatically migrate users from one version to another in private integrations. This means users will need to manually switch to version 1.1.0 if they want to use the new triggers or actions.
  • Coexistence of Versions: The two versions (1.0.0 and 1.1.0) will exist side by side. Users can keep some Zaps on version 1.0.0 and create new Zaps using version 1.1.0, or update their old Zaps if needed.
