The HVAC item template is a basic time and material type template. There are HVAC assemblies that have a fixed set number of hours per maintenance type.
In this instance the materials will need to be added along with an amount of time needed to repair / replace each item. There is also straight labor and materials that can be added individually. Adding a specific HVAC until with the labor to install that unit would be a simple way to create an estimate.
The final project price will be based on the sum of the material total and the labor hours times the labor rate per hour. More on the specific pricing and understanding item assembly setup.
