Text Documents to your clients

Estimate Rocket has proposal, change order , invoice and receipt documents that can be texted to your clients.

The text message will have a link to the customer portal where the client can see all documents and communicate directly with you through a 2 way messaging feature.

This rapid communication can help you close more deals quickly.

Client Based Settings Must be enabled for the client to be texted

When looking at the client record there will be 3 boxes which can be checked which will allow your client to receive SMS messages.
To text your client a document the Client will receive SMS for documents must be checked. If that is not checked the texting of documents will respond differently.

To Trigger the texting of documents

The simplest place to trigger a document to be texted is from the main project edit screen.

One of the main action buttons on the project detail screen will say Text Document which will open a dialogue to select the specific document and to send the text.

Choose which document and send text

Choose the document to send. The your text will read section will change based on which document is selected. The link is directly to the portal where ALL the information on the project is displayed.

Texting Document Events are saved in the Communications - Text Document section

Any document that is texted is recorded in the Text Documents section of the application

Texted Documents - Client Experience

The link in the SMS will direct the client to the customer portal where they can see any document created on their project (estimate / proposal, change order, invoice and receipt). You can preview what the client will see by clicking on the Customer Portal link on the project detail page.
