Managing your crews seamlessly during all project phases in Estimate Rocket

Have you ever had trouble managing your crews at work order time or even managing your sales team on getting to estimates in specific areas? The article on tracking you projects (link)  will give you the background to understand the quick overview capabilities within Estimate Rocket. This article will be more about coordinating the crew or team at work order time.

Losing days on a project is a sure way to bust the overall profit margin of a project. If your team is at a project but there was a miscommunication about schedule because the previous contract team was not quite done or the owners were not out of the way in time for your crew to have a full productive day.

Why Estimate Rocket?

Details in the Work Order

Estimate Rocket uses the same information in the estimate to build a work order for your team. Naturally you won't show the crew the estimate price, similarly Estimate Rocket hides the work notes from the client when reviewing the proposal. The work order will have the location address of the work, the full scope of work, detail of rooms, budget of time for each substrate and the amount of material needed for each substrate. So no need to copy things out of the estimate and edit the prices out to create a work order.

Fully Functional Schedule

With a fully functional schedule the work order can be schedule across single or multiple days and be assigned to a single user or a crew of users. There can also be subtasks or to dos setup on each project, which will also appear on the schedule. The schedule will sync out to 3rd party calendars if the users would prefer to use their mobile device to track their calendar. The schedule in Estimate Rocket will allow the user to view and interact with assigned projects by adding photos, notes or even messaging the client.

Crew Notifications / Alerts

In Estimate Rocket you have the ability to alert the members of your team about job schedule changes or to specifically alert a team member to bring a piece of equipment. Weather is probably the most common element that will change a schedule but there are also others, especially when working on larger projects where other contractors are working as well. Putting a note in a project with a notification symbol will notify all employees or single employees. Employee alerts can be configured by each employee, such as receiving a SMS message when they get a notification
