Client Invoice Payment Methods

Estimate Rocket continues to work towards expanding the options that clients have to pay their invoices. The more payment options a client has will improve your chances to complete the sale.

Enabling Stripe in the past meant that only payment method was via Credit Card.

Estimate Rocket has now expanded the payment options using Stripe. Credit cards will still be an options but offerings of ACH payments and financing will be coming soon.  You will still enable payment processing but now will be able to configure other payment options in your Stripe account that will be presented on the new payment form in Estimate Rocket.

Client Payment Via Credit Card

The client payment via Credit Card will continue to be an option. The credit card payment form has been updated. The current fee structure as defined in the Stripe credit care payment fees will remain in place.

Payments made via credit card are immediately paid with no additional waiting period. Estimate Rocket records the payment intent via CC and then a very quick confirmation of success. Invoices will appear as pending payment but typically for less than 30 seconds.

Client Payment Via ACH Bank Transfer (US Bank Account - coming soon)

The client will also have the ability to pay via ACH bank transfer from a US bank account. The fees on these types of transactions are much lower so this can definitely improve your bottom line. A bit more work lies on the client's shoulders at the time of payment as they will need to provide banking information to Stripe during the payment intent process.

Payments made via ACH bank transfer do take some time to finalize. Larger banks, that already have a relationship with Stripe, are quicker due to the general ACH process being established. Smaller banks may take additional time for there to be a micro-deposit to confirm the account and routing number of the bank.

Estimate Rocket records the payment intent (payment submitted) but the invoice will remain in pending status until the actual funds are transferred.

Client Payment Via Financing (coming soon)

Estimate Rocket had implemented financing options through Stripe / Affirm.

Unfortunately Affirm removed their support for financing ‘service contractor’ type projects at the same time this solution was implemented.

Estimate Rocket is currently investing other financing options.
