Estimate Rocket continues to make improvements to the Dashboard and Projects page to bring additional information onto the high level view to minimize the need to click into the project to get additional details.
Because this change is to 2 of the main views in the software it may seem disruptive at first and there were decisions made within the product with the hope that they would soften the disruptions.
As we worked with BETA testers on these changes the additional information being displayed on the dashboard and projects page ultimately made day-to-day operations more smooth.
Dashboard Changes
In the dashboard the white space to the right of the dashboard assignments has been eliminated and now more information is displayed such as the project name and address. This additional information should eliminate the need to click into the project to determine those details. The different views (Table / Tabs) have been rolled into a single hybrid view that exposes the data from the table view into the current default view.
The mobile view of the dashboard will not be much different after these changes.
None of the other functionality on the dashboard has changed.
There are still the quick action buttons and the click on the assignment will take the user into the project, the view other users dashboard and the typical search options.

The additional information being displayed is regarding the project assignment. This additional information should eliminate the need to click into the project to determine those details. The previous buttons on that projects page for Requires Attention and Conflicting Totals have now been rolled into 2 new tabs to the right of the typical All / Late / Today / Future tabs.
The mobile view of the projects page will not be much different after these changes.

Changes such as this can be difficult because the visual changes ultimately affect your to be able to quickly perform the operations needed based on the typical visual queues.
The feedback from our BETA testers did help us streamline the changes to make the user experience easier.
