A typical takeoff program is going to have a specific output of the project size which may include full home dimensions, room dimensions and in general any area dimensions.

In the case of a home the dimensions will include the elevation or ceiling height and wall sizes on a typical blueprint.

Your Estimate Rocket item template can be tailored to take inputs that parallel your specific takeoff program output or reporting. The entries can be area measurement based or specific material based if the output is that specific.

The Estimate Rocket product team does continue to investigate the consistency of the outputted data from different takeoff programs with the hope that standardization of that data output would allow for a streamlined import method for the data into an Estimate Rocket project such that an uploaded takeoff would be able to have dimensions automatically added.
